Best wishes to all

Maybe they`re too ashamed to tell the rest of us what they got up to?

Or if they won't tell us perhaps we'll have to make it up

Was a lovely afternoon, such a shame so many couldn't make it for various reasons, we had a chat about possibly organising another one this year.

I had to leave early as I was one of the lucky ones to get a ticket for the Black Sabbath gig on the same evening,

Hi All,

Had a wonderful time at the get together, it was great to meet so many lovely people, did me the world of good! It was quite an experience getting the trains up there and at the right prices too, Forgot how busy London is, commuted up there to work many years ago now! Looking forward to meeting up again at the next one, it would be lovely to see some new faces too Smile

Yes, we had a lovely time.

Lots of laughing, chatting, but no drinking and swearing we behaved ourselves!!!! Didn't want to bring any shame on you all. We'll that is up till I left, don't know what happened afterwards! LOL

Made some lovely new friends, swapped telephone numbers so we can keep it touch.

A really lovely day all round. Meal was very good as well.

A big thank you to Lynn and Jean for organising it.

Love Paula x

Thank you Paula, I'm only sorry I couldn't be there to enjoy it with you all ... unfortunately waylaid by the hospital who wouldn't discharge me in time! Tongue

Looks like you all had a good time!
If someone has got some photos you can email me and a bit about the weekend (how many of you went, where it was held, facilities on offer...) I will put a piece in the Autumn magazine in the Members' news section as I think it's a good story to get out to other Members and hopefully mean some more might get involved next time.

Hi Tracey. It wasn't an NRAS get together - just a meeting of friends who have RA although some of the friends are NRAS members and others have been members in the past. We try to get together every year for a chill and a good meal and some of us stay overnight as people come from as far away as Sotland and the South Coast.

Hi Jean

I know it wasn't an 'official' NRAS get together but as most of you are Members I thought it would be a nice little piece to include in the Magazine to show that being a Member means that there are so many other opportunities out there and ways to get involved and meet other people. We have included a piece on your previous get togethers so just thought that we could do the same again. If you want me to include something perhaps you could let me know at tracey@nras.org.uk. Thanks

Tracey

Hi All,

Our Get Together was really lovely, so nice being back to see our friends and meet new ones too. The Hotel was really lovely, the staff were so attentive and the food was amazing. Our journey down from Scotland was good, we arrived much quicker than last year and we did not take as long going back home either. I would be up for another Get Together this year if we can manage it. Hope everyone is well.

Lorna Smile
